In Scouting, there are many organised hikes around Yorkshire and we have taken part in some of them, including;
The six dales hike, the Rombalds stride, the Bar t’hat walk. If you would like to take part, talk to a leader.
Some of the classic, longer distance, hikes include;
The Pennine way (the first and longest nationally recognised route)
The Yorkshire Wolds way a less hilly route; a good starter.
