At WWESU, we have leaders with Scout awarded hill walking permits (and first aid qualifications) which allows us to organise DofE expeditions up to gold award standard.
Bronze award hikes are 2 days with an overnight camp, usually relatively local. Silver expeditions are typically in North Yorkshire moorland over 3 days with 2 night’s camping. Gold award expeditions are in unfamiliar territory (e.g. north Wales, Scotland) over 4 days with 3 night’s camping.

While we can accommodate walking / hiking expeditions, you can also do a variety of “self powered” (non-motorised) methods including kayak / canoe, sailing, rowing, horse riding, bicycle & wheelchair. For these, we suggest you look in the edfoe opportunity finder.
